Pricing FAQ
- Is the Community edition really free for commercial use?
- Yes. The Community edition is released under AGPL-3.0 and can be used in production without a commercial agreement. AGPL requires source disclosure if you offer it as a network service — if that's a blocker for your use case, the Pro edition includes a commercial license without the AGPL obligations.
- What's the difference between Pro and Cloud?
- Pro is self-hosted on your infrastructure — same software, you operate it. Cloud is fully managed by us on EU-resident infrastructure. Pro is right when you need data inside your perimeter; Cloud is right when you want the capability without operating the stack.
- Where is data processed in the Cloud edition?
- Exclusively on EU-hosted infrastructure under EU-controlled entities. We never transfer customer content outside the EU. Region selection (Milan, Frankfurt, Amsterdam) is offered during onboarding.
- Can I move from Community to Pro to Cloud later?
- Yes, in either direction. The data format is identical across editions. Migration is a configuration change and a license key, not a re-ingestion.
- Do you offer source-code escrow?
- Yes. For Pro and Cloud customers we can deposit the full source of the proprietary components with a neutral EU-based escrow agent, releasable under defined trigger events.
